STARWHEEL

The longest journey begins with an open Heart

I am G‑d, your G‑d, Total Eclipse

I am G‑d, your G‑d, Total Eclipse

To put it bluntly, and down to the point of physical pain, the fundamental, or the most physical proof of eternal existence of the most canonized spiritual existence in western tradition is comprised by a but one fixed set of self-generative rules - "I am G‑d, your G‑d." [Ex. 20:1]

I am G‑d, your G‑d, Total Eclipse STARWHEEL

As opposed to the name of transdendent essence, the restrictive naming undergoes declension: it accepts suffixes that make it mean "our G‑d," "your G‑d," etc. This is because in order for G‑d to "belong" to us, He must first constrict his self-revelation; this process of constriction is indicated by the its physically restrictive name.

I am G‑d, your G‑d, Total Eclipse STARWHEEL

Under other circumstances, infusing transcendent Divinity into a created being's normative consciousness would cause created being's normative consciousness to cease to exist. The intensity of the revelation would simply overload its capacities causing it to become instantly absorbed into the Divine energy flowing through it.

Amen.

Simeon wrote on Dec 16th, MMXXIV: Personally, i have found that the Western approach to growth offers many benefits. And what is this “Western approach” to growth? i hear you say. I thought you’d never ask. Look 👀in a word, it’s materialism. Now before you roll your eyes and denounce my baseness… please let me explain what i mean. For many years now, and by many years i mean the whole of my adult life, the dominant spirituality in my socio-cultural milieu has been Eastern mysticism. You know the sort of thing. Bhakti, Vedanta, Buddhism, Taoism and Woo Woo. And let me be honest, my favourite is Woo Woo, but i digess. The thing is this… Materialism as a formal set of grounding principles can be a wonderful adjunct to making real those spiritual principles that, while idealistic have few coordinates governing realisation in the material world. And the problem with that is that this is an important bottom line. Cashflow. Mortgage or rent. Buying food. Car payment. Further Education costs. So having a project, requiring 3D-world deliverables, can be an enormously beneficial thing. It keeps us grounded. Demands of us a certain honesty. Has responsibility as a built in feature, and is practically unlimited, as to how much dream, vision, Love and magic you can invest in it… for FREE. Under these conditions, why wouldn’t everyone want to become a Spiritual Materialist?

A certain amount of madness, pored through relationships between human beings in general, does create, to a certain degree, additional amounts of intermixed madness and a marriage between the acceptance of the most fundamental of western traditions, if these can be limited in a way, and an attitude that constitutes individuals essence or self-determination. The precinct between the two is engraved by the very name of G-d in fiery letters, burning constantly. Thus, it burns away butterflies wings every time an individual wants to address the source of light which is not of theirs.
