Ludvik & Danica

Ludvik and Danica were deeply in love. They had to emigrate from Slovenia in early '70, crossing Yugoslavian border to Austria and joined the international emigration camps near Vienna. There they were given had only one choice, they left with a ship to Australia. After they arrived they got married in new country. They didn't know even the word in English, but they made it - they brought up a family with 4 lovely children: John, Lidia, Kathy and Simon - they have settled their home on the outskirts of Sydney and kept their love alive until last days. Since they left their home near Maribor and until 2011 they returned only twice. When they first left, they were 19 and 18.
