Caresses the Lotus
KARTIKA-PLAZA
After a catastrophic dream
In room without open windows
Revealed intricacies of hidden mind
I woke up two hours into the past
With almost jumping out of bed
As so long I haven't slept for ages.
Curiosity someplace killed the cat
But not here, here strayed dog herds would do
So lucky I have felt while rushing out
Onto the morning terrace and discovered
Two hours in the past just vanished
At the breakfast turning point
When we all were happy again
To see that we're back.
Could you please change my room today
I want to be on second floor
To open windows wide at night
While turning Lotus
In acceptance of the second dream.
In the world of post-modernism
It is no longer clear
That any one identity is real.
Now looking forward ans into this day
To pass, in wonder, getting lost away
In dreams that are and that'll come
When midnight caresses the Lotus.
