Baroon Dam
After the Floods
Baroon Pocket Dam has been a picnic destination for a while. The lake of endless colours, revealing itself by the sunsets. At the same time each year, after the rain and the floods, one of the most beautiful spots. Picnic with Postma's family (NL).
At the same time, the snakes curled up on higher grounds, after the rising heat, seeking a refugee. One of pythons happened to occupy Bea's (ZIM) large vase on her balcony, scaring the kids in her sleep. We packed her in the vase, covered, and relocated not far away. The vase broke while releasing the snake. In a fashonable way. We haven't seen the snake since but as the locals tell us it's still around, still today.
